Food & drink PNG images with transparent backgrounds
Food is one of the hardest subjects to photograph well, which is why cut-out food images are so useful. A clean, transparent PNG of a burger, a bowl of salad or a glass of juice lets you build a menu board, a delivery app banner or a social post without a studio, and without fighting the background of the original photo.
This collection brings together dishes, ingredients, fruit, desserts and drinks. Each image keeps its natural shadows and edges as far as possible, so it sits convincingly on a coloured background, a wooden texture or a photo of a table.

Tips for designing with food & drinks PNGs
Keep the light consistent
When you combine several dishes on one design, pick images lit from the same side. A plate lit from the left next to a drink lit from the right looks pasted on, even when the cut-outs are perfect.
Add a soft contact shadow
A blurred, low-opacity ellipse under a plate or cup makes it look like it is resting on the surface. Our guide to adding shadows shows how in Canva, Photoshop and Figma.
Size for the menu, not the screen
Printed menus need more pixels than social posts. For a dish that will print 8 cm wide at 300 DPI, look for an image at least 950 pixels wide.
